• Maa Durga is the eternal Shakti, the divine mother who upholds Dharma and destroys Adharma.She is Brahman in feminine form, a combination of all cosmic energies, armed with infinite grace and unstoppable power.
• She is both Saguna(form) and Nirguna(formless/beyond form), Worshipped in many manifestations such as Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati, she represents the wholeness of creation, preservation, and transformation. As the slayer of Mahishasura, she is hailed as Mahishasura Mardini, the remover of inner demons.
• When gods are helpless and the world trembles under the weight of evil, it is Durga who arises, resplendent, fearless, and radiant like a thousand suns.
• Her name means the one who eliminates suffering . She is Chit Shakti the force behind the movement of the universe.
• Ma Durga did not take birth, she was invoked ,When the balance of the entire universe trembled under the tyranny of Mahishasura, the demon who could not be slain by any man or God.
• From the combined radiant energies of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, and from every god in heaven, emerged a divine light, brighter than a thousand suns. & that celestial light condensed into a majestic feminine form.Her body was formed from divine light:Shiva's strength formed her face,Vishnu's brilliance became her arms,Brahma's wisdom shaped her legs,and the rest of the gods offered their essence.Each deity gifted her a weapon:Shiva gave the Trishul,Vishnu, the Sudarshan Chakra,Indra, the thunderbolt,Agni dev a flaming spear,even Himalaya gifted her a lion to ride into battle.Devi Durga arose and her roar vibrated through the cosmos “ I AM THE MOTHER OF THE UNIVERSE . • The terrifying image of Ma Kali makes her unique among all the goddesses and symbolizes her embodiment of the transient realities of the worldly existence, such as blood, death, and destruction. She loves her children the way a lioness loves her lion cubs. However, one must first become like a lion cub, for otherwise her love can appear too powerful, terrifying, and intense to comprehend.

Mahishasura Mardhini

• Mahishasura is the is the shape-shifting buffalo demon who represents the ego, ignorance, and unchecked animalistic tendencies within human nature. His name translates to "buffalo," symbolizing lethargy, stubbornness, and inertia, while his continuous shape-shifting represents a restless, desire-driven mind that leads to suffering.
• His behavior embodies the guna of rajas, which is the fiery, active energy that manifests as restlessness, desire, rage, and corrosive passion. mahishasura also represents more than anger.
• Riding a majestic lion, the symbol of dharma, Durga engaged in battle with Mahishasura, who kept changing forms, from a raging buffalo to an elephant, and then into a man. These transformations symbolized the ever-changing nature of ego and adharma. For nine nights and ten days, the fierce yet compassionate Mother fought tirelessly. On the tenth day, She struck Mahishasura down and restored harmony to the three worlds.This divine victory is commemorated as Vijaya Dashami or Dussehra, a celebration of light, truth, and divine order.Whenever Maa Durga Attacks, he eludes Her Deadly Blows by using the protective shield of his changing forms. Until he reveals his true form, he remains elusive and seemingly unconquerable.
• In the same way, human delusion displays an array of guises to mask and protect an ego ruled by attachment, aversion, and deep-seated fear. Personal demons will continue to bedevil in one form or another until recognized for what they are.
• Mahishasura’s unwillingness to reveal himself stems from a sense of selfpreservation of the false ego, which deceptively appears as true self. Maa Durga Forces the revelation By Piercing him With Her Spear, Which Symbolizes The Penetrating Light Of Higher Knowledge. When mahishasura emerges in his true form, Maa Durga Decapitates him With Her Sword, Which Is A Metaphor For viveka, the ability to discern between the selfish, harmful impulses and the noble selflessness that promotes harmony and points toward Unity.

Navadurga & Chakras

• Maa Shailaputri: Governs the Muladhara (Root) Chakra. She represents foundational stability, grounding, and the awakening of primal energy.
